The Hiddenness of Winter

Life beneath the ground, the white, and the cold is lying silent to our eyes.  Most of it is at rest and what lies beneath is still life.

Life hidden, is life still important. It's life that really matters for it is the sustaining sap of the tree and plant that allows it to continue to produce life year after year.

In the hard and cold of our lives, in 'our winters' God is wanting to do life where it matters most - within, changing us from glory to glory.

I Corinthians 3:18 - But we all, with unveiled faces, looking as in a mirror at the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as from the Lord, the Spirit. (NAS)

Romans 8:18 - For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is to be revealed in us.
