Pull Back The Curtain and Reveal Your Truth

The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.  Proverbs 9:10

Lord,
So many times I find myself asking for wisdom, for clarity; and it starts with fearing You.  Not fearing You as in scared, but as in a reverence, a remembering who You are and who I am in relation to You.  It begins with learning to know You.  Yes, Lord, show me who You are.   Amen.

Life holds many moments of clarity but it also holds many clouded and unclear moments.  One morning I found myself in one of the unclear moments, asking for wisdom and clarity.  And as I was taking my walk, the clouds parted a little bit to reveal the sun, in the same way I ask for the clouds of doubt, pain, and disappointment to parted so I can see Your Son.

Learning who God is, we learn who we are and the power that is ours, the wisdom imparted as we surrender to Him.  Matthew 11:29 tells us where Jesus invites us to yoke with Him and learn from Him.  The result is - rest for your soul.

God's whisper of truth to our souls in the unclear moments that we walk through.  Because of this, we can take the next step.  The truest faith is taking the next step when all we do is trust the One who loves us so, Jesus; with our hand in His to learn more of Him.

In our pain, we learn of His comfort.
In our weakness, we learn of His power.
When the load is too much, too heavy, we learn of His strength.
When we stay with Him, we learn He is faithful.
Reading the Bible, His truest words, we learn the truest truth for He is Truth.
As we read His words, we learn His names and they tell us who He is.
When the way is unclear and we stay we Him, we learn we can trust His heart is good towards us.

Thank you, for the words of Your Greater Truth, the ones that matter most.

I want eyes to see a You, a heart that believes You, and the strength to trust You.

The clouds returned their cover over the sun, but that doesn't change that the sun is not shining, I just can't see it.  In the same way, the clouds of pain, disappointment, and doubt may assail me again, but that doesn't change the truth THAT YOU ARE STILL PRESENT.

Thank you, Jesus.
Your daughter, Judith
