Evening's Glow and The Serenity of God's Rhythm

The clouds.  The sky.  The colours.

Are majestic and awe-inspiring.  God extravagantly splashes the sky with vibrant colours while other times He softly colours the expanse above us.  I never tire of seeing the evening or morning skies.  I am so thankful for a place, a home where we get to see the rising and setting of the sun.

From the rising of the sun to its setting, the name of the LORD is to be praised.  Psalm 113:3
Malachi 1:11

He promises that there will always be day and night and the changing of seasons as long as this earth stands.

He promises that He doesn't change.  He is the same yesterday, today, and forever.  Hebrews 13:8

And because of that fact, that Greater Truth, we can hang our doubts, our fears, and our questions on that reality and that, my friends, is faith.

That stability can stabilize our fears, doubts, and unbelief.

Oh Lord,
Sometimes my doubts and fears and anger overwhelm my soul and blind me to see You.  I bring all of that to You and cling to Your hand and rest in the Greater Truth of Your love and Your immutability (not changing).  Open my eyes to see You and in those moments when I don't see You, draw me to Yourself.  You have promised to complete the good work in me, and I rest in that promise and choose to believe Your words.  Thank You, Lord, for Your love and Presence.
                                              Your Child.
